Maryam Rashidi, 35, died in hospital after being run over by a stolen truck on Sunday. The gas station attendant chased the vehicle out of the parking lot after it filled up with $113 of fuel and drove off without paying.
Hamyaari held an event on Saturday 13th June, to light a candle and offer our sympathies to Mayam Rashidi’s mourning family and raised public awareness and asked the government that tougher sanctions be introduced for repeat dangerous drivers.
